What you will do
- Every project is a challenge, so the design and implementation of electrical solutions will be in your hands.
- You will produce engineering drawings and technical documentation for electrical installations.
- Lead and carry out engineering work focused on efficient and sustainable technical solutions.
- To see everything through, you will build and develop cooperation with installation teams and suppliers.
What you should bring
- Experience as an electrical design engineer is a plus, but not essential – we will be happy to show you the ropes.
- What matters is experience in designing LV and MV electrical installations, ideally including power sources such as UPS and generators.
- Knowledge of the relevant standards, such as EN 62040-3:2001 or ČSN ISO 8528-3.
- You will draw and design in EPLAN Electric P8 and Autodesk AutoCAD, so you know them inside out.
- You do not need to be a native speaker, but written English is essential.
- A category B driving licence.

Service technician

Join FIRSTPOWER – we are looking for a service technician to take on the challenges of backup power with us! Looking for a job where you do what you enjoy alongside people on the same wavelength? What you will do
- Install and service backup power systems – diesel generators and UPS units at client sites across the Czech Republic – that will be your daily bread.
- Carry out regular maintenance and servicing to keep everything running smoothly.
- Work closely with the project manager as their right hand in making sure projects run smoothly.
- Friendly communication with clients matters to us. We are not looking for a great orator, just someone who can chat informally and connect with people.
What you should bring
- An electrical engineering education is a must – you need to find your way around technical manuals and drawings.
- A valid qualification under Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll., so that everything is safe and by the book.
- Besides technical knowledge, good manual skills.
- Basic English is enough, just for working with technical texts.
- Computer skills good enough to configure control units.
- CAD design skills would be great, but are not required.
- Our projects will take you all over the Czech Republic (2 to 3 days a week on the road), so you need a category B driving licence.
